Oh, it's in you.
How you really what to sound when you write copy.
It's time to kickstart it.
*Disclaimer: no solo entrepreneurs were harmed or freaked out while learning how to kickstart their voice.
Picture this: You and me, on a wild ride to fire up the power of your true voice (a.k.a. what’s hiding behind all those boring “rules” and self doubt).
With 1-to-1 guidance and some epic tools, we’ll define, refine, and document your voice until it’s as clear as day.
The result? Oh, it’s gonna be juicy! You’ll consistently whip up copy that’s engaging, impactful, and screams YOU from every pixel. It’s time to ditch the vanilla and make a statement every time you put those fingers to work!

What's a voice & copy kickstarter?
and other stuff ya gotta know
As far as I know, I’m the only one who’s laid claim to that title. Fine by me.
I’ve no problem saying I’m the one who:
- breaks down the barriers to sounding like you — and nobody else
- helps you define and refine your written personality
- gives you the tools to fire up your voice and transform your copy
Itchy. I can’t think of a better way to describe it. Once you scratch that itch, and start saying it the way you want, there’s no ointment* powerful enough to stop it. You’ll be tripping over your feet to get back to your desk and write it down.
*Sorry for using the word ointment. It gives me the hibby jibbies too.
Simple — I don’t like the words have to or should. They sound like rules. You’re a solo entrepreneur. Taking risks is what you do. So why play by the “rules” when you write copy?
I have to use these words because I’m in the ____ industry. Ah, no ya don’t!
I should sound like this, so people take me seriously. Seriously?
In my True Voice Kickstart sessions.
I work 1-to-1 with you to define your true voice and showcase your personality in your copy (a.k.a. make it a no-brainer for your ideal client to decide they want to work with you ─ and nobody else).
Robots may be taking over the universe (feck!) but you can’t discount the human touch. Think of writing with AI like following a recipe. Plop in the basic ingredients, and you get what everyone else gets. Yawn. And that’s how AI works. It scans and mixes up copy that’s already out there (get used to seeing the word empowered — a lot).
If you use AI, you still need to know what your special ingredients are (a.k.a. your true voice) to make your copy different and unexpected. That’s what makes your audience eat it up and ask for seconds, thirds…twenty-fifths.
We work together to define and refine your flavour infusion that keeps them coming back for more — you.
Two words — purple bra.
A client showed up rocking a purple bra (and nothing else on top). She’d just finished working out and had zero time to change. She told me at the start of the session, “If there’s any place where I can be comfortable being me, it’s in session with you”.
My website was outdated, and it didn’t sound like me. Janine showed me how my voice connected with the reader much more. Her guidance on how to write like I speak first (and edit later) made me sound much more relatable and alive.
